Who we are
MyRapidHeat (myrapidheat.co.uk) publishes guides for UK households who want to heat one room affordably, especially people working from home, renters and older people keeping warm on a budget. We are not the manufacturer or official retailer of RapidHeat. Publisher details: to be confirmed.
What we cover
- The RapidHeat Heater: features, price, legitimacy and who it suits.
- Plug-in heaters in general: how they work, safety and running costs.
- Choosing a heater: heater types compared and energy efficiency explained.
How we research
Product facts (specifications, prices, delivery and guarantee) come from the official store, getrapidheat.co.uk, and were last checked in October 2026. General heating, cost and safety guidance draws on UK bodies including Ofgem, the Energy Saving Trust, Electrical Safety First and UK fire services, which we link to on each guide. Running-cost examples use a stated unit rate so you can recalculate with your own tariff.
We have not lab-tested the RapidHeat Heater. Where a figure comes only from the seller, such as warm-up time or room size, we say so.
Editorial standards
- We never invent reviews, star ratings, customer numbers, testing results or endorsements.
- We label seller claims as claims and explain misleading marketing (like "1p per hour").
- We say who a product is not right for, not just who it suits.
- We review every guide at least once each heating season and show the date.
Advertising disclosure
This site is advertising. We may earn a commission when you buy through our links, at no extra cost to you. Purchase links are marked as sponsored. Commission never changes the facts we report.

How we researched this guide
We read the official seller's product page, delivery and returns information, and guidance from UK bodies such as Ofgem, the Energy Saving Trust and Electrical Safety First. We have not lab-tested the RapidHeat Heater, and we don't publish customer reviews we can't verify. Anything the seller claims is labelled as their claim. Last reviewed: October 2026.
